Animals play an important role in a few areas of our lives. There are animals that live with us at home, other are used to produce food or some products. We use animals in medicine.
All of us like animals. We have got: dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, fish and even parrots in our houses. I have got a hedgehog and a fish. Some people say, animals are best friends for people. We have a lot of fun feeding, spending time or playing with them.
Some animals are used in medicine. People, also kids can have therapy with animals like dogs or horses. Sometimes medicaments are tested on animals. In some cases, animals are used for tests and experiments.
In the past, people used animals for transport and in agriculture. In some regions people still use animals for farming instead of heavy machines like tractors. Horses and donkeys are caring goods.
Some animals produce food. Cows and goats provide us with milk. We eat meat from some animals. Goats and sheep provide us with wool for shawls, and blankets. Animals are also a source of leather that is used for making shoes, belts, bags, wallets, sofas.
As you can see, animals play an important role. Our lives would be difficult without them.
