Below you can find a list of how parents should talk to teenagers. It consists only of seven points, but you can always add something that in your opinion is important.
Parents shouldn’t talk about topics that aren’t suitable for their children.
Parents should ask their children if there is any problem that teen can’t solve.
Parents shouldn’t bother their children when they do their homework, because they want to focus on their task.
Parents shouldn’t talk with teenagers about topics that are not very interesting for them if there is no real need to talk about it.
Parents SHOULDN’T try talking to teenagers with ANY teen slang.
Parents should give their child some freedom (but not too much).
Parents should develop their children skills and interests.
