I`ve always loved traveling but when our class planned a trip to the USA I was a
little bit perplexed. Unfortunately there was a problem. We had to travel by
plane. I was frightened of the long journey because of the differences in pressure. I`ve traveled by plane before usually for a few hours but not for ten. I was quite confused but decided to go. When our plane was in the air my ears and head really hurt.
The day of plane departure approached. I was scared but I tried to think positive.
When the plane was taking off my ears and head started to hurt. I asked my form tutor what to do and she told me to drink some water and swallow saliva. It really worked! I thanked her for this advice. I even fell asleep.
That day, I realised that flying wasn't as scary as I had thought.
