Let's try a piece of my favourite dessert

by Julia

Hi guys!

I’m writing this post to tell you that I created my own recipe for beza pavlova! The recipe is quite simple and fast. The ingredients you need are: 8 egg whites, 290 grams of fine sugar or powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of potato flour, a pinch of salt and possibly if you want 1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar. But remember, all ingredients must be at room temperature!

The first thing you need to do is whisking the egg whites into a fluffy mass. After that, you start gradually adding sugar, lemon juice, potato flour, salt and vanilla sugar. Whisk at the highest speed for a smooth and fluffy mass. After obtaining it, immediately turn the mixer off not to weigh the mass. Then, pour the mass on a baking pan lined with baking paper and spill it as you want. Set the oven to 170 degrees with thermocouche, and immediately after inserting the meringue in the oven, reduce the temperature to 150 degrees. Bake it for 90 minutes and do not remove it just after baking because it can quickly fall and start to crumble!

When the meringue is cooled, prepare: 500 ml of sour cream 30% or 36%, 250 grams of mascarpone, 2 tablespoons of vanilla sugar and 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar. Remove beza from the oven and set aside. Cream together with mascarpone, vanilla sugar and powdered sugar whisk to a stiff mass. Put the cream in the fridge for a while and then spread it on the meringue. Optionally, you can add fruits such as strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. That's enough, I wish you good luck and tasty dessert! Bye!
