What sports do you know? Football, basketball, swimming, skiing, but have any of you thought about flying.
Flying? But how?
For a better explanation, I will compare flying to swimming. To swim you need a swimming pool with water, and to fly you need a wind tunnel, a space surrounded by thick, tight glass. Below you will find turbines that rush to a huge speed, which allows people to lift themselves up and fly. At the height of the ground there is a net with a floor function.
To swim we need a swimming costume, goggles and a cap. To fly we also need a special outfit called a suit. Because there is a high wind speed in the wind tunnel, we must have an eye, hair and head protection. Shoes, sneakers and sneakers that are well tied up so that they do not get loose during the flight are important elements.
Flying can only be fun, but also a sport.
If you would like to fly, you would have to book a 3-minute flight with an instructor.
If you practice flying as a sport, the exercises look different than with the firstimer. They last longer. At least 10 minutes.
Competitions are organised in different countries and at different times of the year, but there are several recurring events such as the World Competitions, Wind Games and the World Cup. You can compete in different categories at such competitions:
Freestyle - it is similar to figure skating in the air. You take part in the competition alone.
Solo speed - a person performs a system of movements drawn in advance in the shortest possible time.
2 Way Dynamic - two people perform a system of movements drawn in advance in the shortest possible time
4 Way Dynamic - four people perform a system of movements drawn in advance at the earliest possible time
VFS - four axes make specific movements as quickly as possible, moving from the screens to the head
FS - four people make specific movements at the fastest possible rate while being on their backs only.
