Each of us is different, differently discovers the world that surrounds us, has different sensitivity of their senses. And what follows, we all have our individual learning style. It is our senses that creates images of knowledge that are sorted, archived or used by our brain on an ongoing basis.
I have mentioned different sensitivity of the senses. What does it mean? Maybe you have already noticed that you remember only certain details from a boring lesson or an uninteresting film, during which you were almost sleeping, you remember
which elements you noticed by seeing this, hearing, smelling or movement. You do not remember whole lesson but certain details.
If the details are associated with the image, film, presentation you saw or an article you read it can mean that your eyesight is the most developed sense, i.e. it's visual. And similar with other senses. Maybe you react on oral lectures or presentations, maybe voice timbre of lecturer is the most visualized in your brain. So definitely it means that your auditory sense plays the major role in reaction of your body to external stimuli. So having such knowledge about yourself, you can utilize your the most developed senses for instance in learning procedure. This is very valuable knowledge as nobody wants to spend hours on learning and repeating endlessly. Everybody wants to have the own method of the most effective learning style.
So, it is worth to spend some time to discover your sensibility level of different senses and to use the strongest on the front learning line. But to be sure that knowledge will stay in your memory for a long time you should also use very important element I mean: experience.
Training and repeating by doing seems to be very essential factor in learning procedure. Believe or not, but knowledge utilizing in daily practice is an embedded pillar in the operational part of your brain which makes you confident master and allowing for further development by widening operating brain space for new challenges. On the other hand, dead knowledge, which you do not practice, in the long run is becoming insignificant rubbish, hidden in the deepest nook of your brain.
Nowadays there are many interesting facts and valuable information around us, and plenty different ways of getting knowledge. If we want to capture and utilize the them all we have to find patent for nonstandard learning way. In the rush of information the standard learning style slowly is getting to be insufficient. We should make an effort and find out what is our new learning style that is causing an acceleration of our education.
