“Best movies of all time”

Hi guys,

Today I’m going to show you the best movies of all time (in my opinion).

Last but not least “Alice in Wonderland” by Tim Burton. This film was released in 2010 and it’s about Alice whose now 19 years old, follows a rabbit in a blue coat to a magical wonderland from her dreams where she is reunited with her friends who make her realise her true destiny.

Next to last is “ Dark Shadows ” once again by Tim Burton is a 2012 American dark fantasy film based on the gothic television soap opera of the same name. It’s about a Rich playboy Barnabas earns the wrath of Angelique, a witch, when he breaks her heart. She turns him into a vampire and buries him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas escapes to settle old scores.

Following “Dark Shadows” is a completely different movie “The DUFF” by Ari Sandel released in 2015. This one is about a teenage girl named Bianca realising that she is being used by people to get to her popular friends, she decides to change. She begs her former friend to rebuild her image in exchange for teaching him science.

Coming up next “ The Fault in Our Stars” by Josh Boone is a movie from 2014 based on Josh Green’s book. It’s about two cancer-afflicted teenagers Hazel and Augustus meet at a cancer support group. The two of them embark on a journey to visit a reclusive author in Amsterdam.

After “The Fault in Our Stars” is another movie about death called “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon. This film is about Greg, a socially awkward teenager, spends most of his time with Earl. He is forced by his mother to befriend Rachel, who suffers from leukaemia, leading to an undying friendship between the three.

Next “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” by Edgar Wright is a 2010 romantic action comedy film co-written, produced, and directed by Edgar Wright, based on the graphic novel series about Scott Pilgrim meeting Ramona and instantly falling in love with her. But when he meets one of her exes at a band competition, he realises that he has to deal with all seven of her exes to woo her.

Then there is “Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children” for the third time by Tim Burton from 2016 based on the 2011 novel “Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children” (Book) by Ransom Riggs. The film is an adaptation of the book. It’s about a young boy named Jake discovers a house full of children with supernatural powers run by Miss Peregrine. Soon, he must help protect their home from terrifying enemies called Hollowgasts.

Afterward we have “10 Things I Hate About You” directed by Gil Junger released in 1999. To make a long story short a high-school boy, Cameron, cannot date Bianca until her anti-social older sister, Kat, has a boyfriend. So, Cameron pays a mysterious boy, Patrick, to charm Kat.

Next up is “Lady Bird” from 2018 by Greta Gerwig. It’s about senior year coming to an end, Lady Bird having to strive to navigate through the ups and downs in her relationships while trying to get into a prestigious college and become popular.

Later we have “To the Bone” published in 2018 and directed by Marti Noxon. This movie is about Ellen an unruly 20-year-old anorexic girl who spent the better part of her teenage years being shepherded through various recovery programmes, only to find herself several pounds lighter every time.

Then we have “The Edge of Seventeen” by Kelly Fremon Craig from 2016. It’s about Nadine, she has problems with her mother and brother and considers her father as her only ally. However, things take a turn for worse for her when her best friend, Krista, starts dating her brother.

Later there’s “Thirteen” from 2003 directed by Catherine Hardwicke and it’s about thirteen-year-old Tracy getting involved in drugs, thefts and other forms of social misbehaviour after meeting Evie. Her mother attempts to intervene and stop her lifestyle by separating the two.

Now, the thing you all have been waiting for. The best movie ever made (obviously in my opinion ) is … “(500) Days of Summer” released in 2009 and directed by Marc Webb. To make long story short, Tom revisits the approximate one year he shared with Summer, the girl he thought he could spend the rest of his life with. She, on the other hand, does not believe in relationships or boyfriends.

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed my list of best films ever made. Thank you all for tuning in. Remember to like and follow. Love you all . 😊
